TRIMMERS
In the blow moulding process of HDPE, LDPE and PVC certain applications require the cutting of the lost
head after the container has been blown. In certain applications this can become very labour intensive
and problematic but yet again Productive Systems have the ideal solution in solving this problem.
Linear Trimmer
A simple but effective process insuring a perfect trim every time. This unit uses an adjustable hot/cold linear
blade together with a V-belt to trim the top of the container while the container is moving down the conveyor.
Adapting the temperature of the blade to the type of plastic and the type of container to be trimmed allows
for a smooth and even trim. This trimmer unit is capable of trimming a range of odd shapes and sizes including
square containers. A dome (lost head) removal arm takes the lost head away from the container making the process
fully automatic. Stand alone and in-line units are available.
Rotary Trimmers
Specific applications require specific designs and with our design capabilities and machine building experience
we are able to satisfy our customers specific needs. We manufacture various types of rotary trimmers for specific
and problematic containers.
